A member of PDP Ward 2, Edosa Aguebor(Engr.) has suddenly resigned from the party.
Gatekeepers News reports that Aguebor made his resignation known to the public through a letter addressed to the Ward 2 Chairman.
Aguebor revealed that the party’s failure to address deep-seated divisions and its entrenched culture of impunity, cronyism, and political inertia are the reason why he resigned.
The comrade who served as Secretary of the committee investigating divisions within the party in seven local government areas of Edo State, expressed his dismay with the party leadership’s lack of political will to confront and resolve internal conflicts.
Although he submitted a thorough report to Governor Godwin Obaseki, no concrete action has been taken to address the issue, and the divisions keeps getting worse.
Aguebor added to his resignation letter, “I will not stand idly by while our party’s potential is squander”
