Department of State Services( DSS) has denied raiding headquarters of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Abuja.
Gatekeepers News reports that the agency’s Spokesman, Peter Afunaya revealed this through a terse statement posted on DSS media Whatsapp handle.
Responding to journalists’ questions on the raid of NLC, office in Abuja, the agency stated: “Pls kindly note that the Service (DSS) did not carry out any operation at the NLC office in Abuja”.
Recall that NLC has in a statement released on Wednesday, alleged that security operatives some from Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and DSS raided the labour house around 8:30 pm night.
NLC further called for the immediate withdrawal of Federal Government armed security agents from its office.
