Nigerian-American actress, Adunni Adewale popularly known as Adunni Ade has revealed that the Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Ramsey Nouah inspired her to relocate to Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that Adunni Ade made the revelation during a recent interview session on HipTV.
The actress said Nouah’s advice gave her encouragement to move to Nigeria from United States for her acting career.
Adunni Ade said she didn’t get to act alongside Nouah until recently despite him being an inspiration to her.
The actress praised Nouah for his ability to switch between roles and separate his personal and professional selves, describing him as a “phenomenal human being”.
She said, “I know Ramsey Nouah is tired of me saying this but he was the one who gave me that confirmation to move to Nigeria.”
“So I met him before I came to Nigeria. I told him my goals and aspirations. He gave me a very good pep talk and I moved down.”
“Since 2011, I have never gotten to work with him and this is someone I have always admired.”
“During a film festival, I saw him and we exchanged pleasantries.”
“The next day, I got a call from the producer of ‘Tokunbo’ and he told me Ramsey Nouah cast me.”
“Ramsey Nouah is a different person while working. I have seen him as the Ramsey the human being, the director and the co-actor. He is just a phenomenal human being.”
