Media Watch Group Extols Prof. Oloyede At 70

A Non-Governmental Organisation – The Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria, has extolled the virtues and values of Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede – Registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board [JAMB] as he marks his 70 years today.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a Congratulatory Message sent him on the momentous occasion, the Group described him as Outstanding Academic, Public Servant and Public Office Holder whose life is exemplary.

In a Press Statement signed and released on Thursday by the National Coordinator of the Muslim Media Watch Group of Nigeria, the Group recalled that Professor Oloyede was groomed islamically since early 70s through the islamic knowledge he acquired and influence of the Muslim Stiudents’ Society of Nigeria – that he joined since 1975.

The life of Professor Is-haq Oloyede the Group maintained, has impacted positively on the lives of thousands of Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religion or cultural differences – describing him as a patriotic and dedicated Nigerian who should be emulated for Nigeria’s better future.

On accountability and transparency, the Group said Prof. Oloyede has raised the bar in his public and personal life calling on all truly patriotic Nigerians to be courageous and dedicated like him in rendering service to the Country and the humanity at large citing his wonderful roles transformation of the University of Ilorin as the Vice-Chancellor and the Joint Admission & Matriculation Board [JAMB].

MMWG said, Nigerian Youth have alot to learn from the impeccable characters of Professor Is-haq Oloyede for greater future of the Nation, adding that with leadership Oloyede’s quality, the Nation will progress tremendously.

“As we celebrate you at 70, we implore you to remain thankful to Almighty Allah for guiding and sustaining you in this enviable trajectory and pray to Almighty Allah to grant you longer life in sound health, wisdom and courage to continue on this trajectory forever, as you remain a reference point in Nigeria’s history,” the Group concluded.
