Police Arraign VeryDarkMan For Wearing Police Uniform

Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arraigned controversial activist, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan following allegations.

Gatekeepers News reports that VDM in a video circulated on social media, wore the police force uniform with the rank meant for a chief superintendent of police (CSP).

The activist referred to himself as CSP of online division, Nigeria’s number one online police. He corrected the notion of people calling him an activist and expressed his commitment to fighting against injustice in the country.

NPF through a post on X on Friday, disclosed that the activist will appear in court over allegations of impersonation related to the unauthorized use of its uniforms.

It wrote, “In response to recent developments, VDM, whose real name is Mr. Martins Otse, is set to appear in court today following allegations of impersonation related to the unauthorized use of Nigeria Police Force uniforms in a viral social media video.”

“The FCT Police Command is actively handling the case, underscoring the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to upholding the integrity of its symbols and preventing their misuse. Interested persons are encouraged to follow up on the proceedings as the case unfolds.”
