EPL: Bassey Scores For Fulham – Mamouch’s Hattrick Seals City Win Over Newcastle

Omar Marmoush scored a first-half hattrick for Manchester City at the English Premier League (EPL) held at Etihad on Saturday.

Gatekeepers News reports that the striker got the goal against Newcastle United with a 13-minute hattrick as City scored 3-0 over Newcastle United.

Mamoush began the scoring in the 19th minute, latching onto a long punt forward from goalkeeper Ederson Moraes before getting a perfect lob over Newcastle United’s goalkeeper for 1-0.

The striker scored the second goal with a deflected strike in the 23rd minute and the third goal in the 33rd minute.

He received a standing ovation as he made way for James McAtee, who scored the fourth goal for City in the 84 minutes.

Man City remain in fourth position on the EPL table with 44 points from 25 matches, 13 points behind Liverpool, while Newcastle United dropped down to seventh.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian defender, Calvin Bassey scored the winner as Fulham defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Crave Cottage.

Basset nodded the ball into the net from a corner kick in the 62nd minute to claim all three points for Fulham.

Also, Substitute Mikel Merino’s late brace gave Arsenal a 2-0 win over Leicester City, cutting the Gunners gap to Liverpool to just four points.
