Controversial Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has warned Nollywood actors never to get intimate with his wife, Ashabi Simple who is an actress.
Gatekeepers News reports that the warning comes amid a cheating scandal between Ijoba Lande, his wife, and actor Baba Tee.
Lande recently disclosed that he and his wife have separated after he found out about her infidelity with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry.
Baba Tee was also accused and admitted to having a brief s*xual encounter with Dara during a game of ‘Truth or Dare’. The actress however denied the allegation, saying she only sat on his lap.
Portable took to Instagram to share his chat with Baba Tee where he expressed his disapproval of his actions.
The singer questioned whether such behaviour is rampant in the Yoruba film industry and warned that anyone who attempts getting intimate with his wife would be dealt with.
He said, “As much as I liked you, you aren’t supposed to be intimate with another person’s wife.”
“Is that how you do in the Yoruba film industry? If anyone tries it with my wife who is an actress, the person will die. Why would you do something like that?”
“However, the person who got intimate with someone else’s wife is not at fault; it is the wife who should be blamed. Don’t you know having a sexual encounter with someone else’s wife brings setbacks?”
“Stop it brother, it is not good. I love you that’s why I am telling you in your DM. May you never experience setbacks.”
In response, Baba Tee alleged he was set up and had gotten tipsy when it happened.
He said, “…I took two shots of alcohol so I was tipsy. I didn’t know she was Lande’s wife. I won’t have been intimate with her if I knew.”
“I was set up. They are wicked in my industry. It has been a long time since they have been trying to take my life.”
