President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Ibok-Ete Ibas, a retired vice admiral, as the sole administrator of Rivers State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Ibas was sworn in shortly after he had a meeting with President Tinubu at Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Recall that Tinubu on Tuesday night, declared a state of emergency in Rivers over political crisis in the state.
The president also suspended Fubara, his deputy, and members of the state assembly and nominated Ibok-Ete Ibas, a retired vice-admiral, as the administrator of Rivers.
