All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State chapter, has extended Easter greetings to Christians across the state and Nigeria, calling for unity, peace, and renewed commitment to shared values.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement issued by its State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the party joined Christians worldwide in commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing the season as a symbol of sacrifice, hope, and victory over adversity.

APC called on residents of Edo State to use the occasion to promote peace, tolerance, and mutual respect, stressing the need for collective responsibility in advancing the development of the state.
The statement also encouraged Nigerians to offer prayers for peace, security, and sustained progress, expressing confidence that unity and responsible leadership would drive meaningful development.
The party further commended Christians for their continued prayers and moral contributions to nation-building, describing their role as vital to social stability.
“On behalf of the leadership and members of the APC in Edo State, we wish all Christians a peaceful, joyful, and blessed Easter celebration,” the statement read.
