Nigerian entertainer, Speed Darlington has responded to his ‘wanted’ declaration by National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Gatekeepers News reports that the agency declared Speed Darlington wanted on June 27, for alleged rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

The declaration followed his failure to respond to an invitation for questioning after he publicly claimed to have had sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl.

Reacting in an Instagram post on Monday, the rapper dismissed the agency’s summons and demanded ₦2.5 million as a “celebrity appearance fee” before he would consider cooperating.

Darlington accused NAPTIP of using his name for publicity, insisting the agency had no credible evidence against him. He described their actions as a stunt to trend.

The entertainer also threatened to sue NAPTIP for defamation if his name is not removed from the wanted list.

He said, “I’m not coming. I have not committed any crime, all I did was speak. Irresponsible talk isn’t a crime. I’m not coming.”

“Where is your evidence? Who is the complainant? You are using me for social media clout so you would claim you’re doing your job.”

“I know the psychological mindset you what to use for me. N2.5 million is what I charge for appearance, will you pay me?”

“I didn’t commit any crime, all I did was trying to trend, you have no evidence against me. You guys are just reacting to the gate of bunch of people to me.”

“Declared wanted for talking? You said cyberstalking? Who did I stalk? Did I post anyone? Who did I bully? Did I call anyone name in the video?”

“Remove my name from the wanted list else I will sue you for defamation of character, you have no evidence.”
