Vice President Kashim Shettima has formally inaugurated the Nigeria House in Davos, Switzerland, as the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) commenced.
Gatekeepers News reports that the unveiling marks Nigeria’s first official presence with a House at Davos, intended as a strategic hub to engage global investors and promote the country’s key economic sectors.
The official opening was attended by members of the Nigerian delegation, along with foreign partners and stakeholders, highlighting Nigeria’s commitment to fostering international partnerships.
Speaking on the initiative, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Jumoke Oduwole said Nigeria is showcasing four major investment areas at the forum: solid minerals, sustainable agriculture, the creative industry, and the digital economy. She emphasised that the Nigeria House will serve as a platform to attract investments, deepen collaborations, and drive growth across these sectors.
