Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Tuesday for a state visit to the United Kingdom.
Gatekeepers News reports that the trip is part of diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening relations between Nigeria and the UK.
During the visit, Tinubu is expected to hold high-level meetings with British government officials and other stakeholders to discuss areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, and economic partnership.
According to a statement from the presidency, the visit will focus on enhancing bilateral ties between both countries and exploring opportunities that could benefit Nigeria’s economy. The meetings are also expected to address issues related to security, economic development, and international collaboration.
Officials said the visit reflects Nigeria’s effort to deepen its diplomatic and economic relations with global partners while attracting foreign investment into key sectors of the country’s economy.
Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after completing the official engagements scheduled during the visit.
