Gatekeepers News reports that Atiku said the time has come for members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to unite and work toward restoring good governance, development, and security in Nigeria.

In a statement shared on his social media account, Atiku said the meeting focused on the progress of the party and the need for collective efforts to ensure recovery and improved leadership for the people. He described the discussions as “quality” and reaffirmed his commitment to party unity.

Kwankwaso, who recently joined the ADC and received his membership card ahead of the 2027 general elections, welcomed the visit and expressed his readiness to collaborate with the party’s leadership and members across all levels. He emphasised the importance of teamwork and expressed optimism about the party’s electoral prospects nationwide.

The visit comes amid ongoing efforts by ADC to consolidate its ranks and present a united front ahead of the 2027 polls, with both leaders urging members to set aside differences and focus on common goals.
