Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to begin printing their examination notification slips ahead of the exercise scheduled to commence on April 16.

Gatekeepers News reports that in a statement issued on Thursday, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said candidates must print their slips to confirm key details such as their examination date, venue, and time. He emphasized that the UTME will be conducted over several days, making it essential for candidates to check their individual schedules early.

The board instructed candidates to visit its official website and click on the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” link to access and print their slips. Each candidate has been assigned a specific timetable, which will also guide them on when to arrive at their centres for proper screening and accreditation before the exam begins.

JAMB also advised candidates to print their slips well in advance and familiarise themselves with their examination centres to avoid last-minute challenges.

The examination body warned against any form of malpractice, noting that enhanced security measures have been introduced for this year’s exercise. It stressed that strict sanctions would be applied to candidates or centres found engaging in misconduct.

The 2026 UTME is expected to run from April 16 to April 25 across various accredited computer-based test centres nationwide.
