Barry has emerged as the Head of House for Week Eight of Big Brother Naija Season 11, earning automatic qualification for the finale.
Gatekeepers News reports that the housemate secured the HoH title on Monday after progressing through the final stage of the competition. His victory also made him the first confirmed finalist of the “Show Ya Sef” season.
As the Week Eight HoH, Barry was named the season’s “ultimate veto power holder”, giving him immunity from eviction for the next two weeks and additional influence over the nomination process.
After the HoH challenge, Big Brother summoned the housemates to the lounge for the week’s nomination process. Eleven housemates were subsequently placed at risk of eviction.
Barry also selected Keivo as his Loft Mate following his HoH victory.
He later exercised his veto power to save Aikou from possible eviction after the nominated housemates were asked to make their case for why they should remain in the competition. Barry chose to use his power to keep Aikou safe.
With Barry already guaranteed a place in the finale, attention now turns to the remaining housemates as they compete to secure their places in the final weeks of the competition.
