Deputy State Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State, *Hajia Aminetu Jamiu*, today, Sunday 1st November 2026, hosted the entire *Club-3* at her residence in Agbede.
Gatekeepers News reports that the strategic meeting, which had in attendance two representatives each from the *59 Polling Units in Club-3*, was convened by the Deputy Woman Leader as part of early preparations for the forthcoming general elections.
Discussions at the meeting were centered on immediate grassroots mobilization at the polling unit level in support of the vision of the Governor of Edo State, *His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo*, to deliver *2.5 million votes for Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.*
In her address, Hajia Aminetu Jamiu emphasized the need for party faithful to commence mobilization without delay, stressing that no polling unit must be left behind. She charged all leaders to ensure massive voter turnout and unprecedented votes from their respective polling units.
Leaders from the three wards in Club-3 were present, including the Ward Leader, *Hon. Tunde Zekeri*, who also spoke and emphasized the importance of starting mobilization from the polling units to ensure a record number of votes from the zone this time around.
Also speaking, the APC Campaign Coordinator for Etsako West, *Alhaji Akokhia*, emphasized the need to start working immediately to deliver APC from top to bottom. He commended the Deputy State Woman Leader for her exemplary leadership and consistent efforts in mobilizing across all polling units to ensure massive votes for the party.
He stressed that the party must work assiduously to deliver:
– President *Bola Ahmed Tinubu*
– Distinguished Senator *Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole*
– House of Representatives Member *Hon. Sunday Dekeri Anamero (Danco)*
– and our House of Assembly Members *Hon. Lecky Hussein and Hon. Akokhia Abdulganiyu*
He thanked Hajia Aminetu Jamiu for starting the campaign from the very grassroots and appreciated all ward leaders present, urging them that the time to campaign is now — in their polling units and villages. He also called on members to reconcile with aggrieved members and bring everyone back into the fold to ensure total victory for the party.
In conclusion, the Deputy State Woman Leader, Hajia Aminetu Jamiu, thanked all attendees for their massive turnout despite the deplorable condition of the Ughioli-Agbede road. She specially appreciated members from Ward 6 Jagbe, Ward 8 Anwain, and Ward 7 covering Ubiane Axis, Ughioli Axis, Egono/Odighie/Eghoro down to Agbede.
She assured that such strategic meetings will be held regularly and that the party will soon hit the streets of all wards and zones in Club-3 to ensure APC gets the required support and delivers the massive votes expected. The meeting ended with her giving her little support to all those present.
