President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a trip to France today, August 19, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
Gatekeepers News reports that the President will depart from Abuja and return to the country after a brief work stay in France.
“President Bola Tinubu will embark on a trip to France on Monday, August 19, departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital. The President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France,” the statement read.
Although the reason for the visit was not disclosed, this trip comes two days after President Tinubu returned to Abuja from a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea, where he met with President Teodoro Mbasogo and witnessed the signing of agreements on oil and gas, security, and bilateral relations.
During his visit to Equatorial Guinea, President Tinubu was received by Prime Minister Mrs. Manuela Roka Botey, and was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar and other cabinet members.
