The Founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pastor Paul Enenche on Monday donated 8 trucks of food and non-food items to assist victims of the recent flood disaster that killed residents and destroyed properties in Borno State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Pastor Enenche said the donation is a way of showing love and care to survivors of the flood disaster.
Pastor Enenche made this known at the Government House Maiduguri when he, his wife Dr. Mrs Becky Enenche and top Pastors of the Dunamis Ministry paid a sympathy visit to the Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Zulum over the flooding incident.
According to him, this is the time to show love to the survivors and assist in the best way possible.
“ God loves the word and He gave his only begotten son, the love of God is shared at times like this.
“Our role as the Church is to ensure that the love of God is fully expressed and let the people know that God cares about them and to do as much rescue as we can during a situation like this,” Pastor Enenche said.
Governor Zulum while responding commended Pastor Enenche for the sympathy visit and assured that items donated will be judiciously deployed.
“This is the first faith-based organization that has come to sympathize with us over the devastating flooding that affected our communities. We are grateful for your visit and we will ensure the donation gets to the targeted persons,” Prof Zulum said.
