Federal Government of Nigeria says it will place 20,000 Nigerian graduates on a fully paid job for one year.
Gatekeepers News reports that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday will make a key announcement on the application for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme.
Presidential Spokesperson, Tolu Ogunlesi made this known in a statement on Monday.
The programme aims to place 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates (under the age of 30) into jobs in private and public sector organisations around the nation.
The jobs which will last for one year (12 months) will be fully paid and will seek to help prepare qualifying recent graduates for their future careers and work environments.
According to Ogunlesi, the goals of the program include “improving employability, building useful career and leadership skills in young graduates, and connecting employers and potential employees.”
