Edo State Government has announced the appointment of a management team for the revived Edo Line, a state-owned transport company that was shut down years back.
Gatekeepers News reports that the appointments take immediate effect.
The new Management team are;
– Imuetinyan Otuomagie: Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
– Sunday Anetor: General Manager, Administration
– Henry Ozara Obozoakhai: General Manager, Operations
– Opitoke Marian: General Manager, Finance and Accounts
– Ugberaese Sylvester Osezua: Company Secretary
The team has been tasked with bringing their wealth of experience to bear in their assigned roles to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
According to the statement signed on Tuesday by Umar Musa Ikhilor, the Secretary to the State Government, the Edo Line is set to resume operations on June 27, 2025, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, who has expressed his commitment to reviving the moribund transport company.
