Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, on Tuesday, advised residents of Konduga Local Government to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movements or plans by Boko Haram terrorists to the nearest security agencies.

Gatekeepers Newreports that Dalori, who hails from Konduga Council Area, also requested the deployment of a local vigilante group and the local security group named Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) to intensify patrols in and around Konduga.

This was disclosed when Dalori paid a condolence visit to Konduga residents over last Friday’s suicide bomb attack that left many dead and others sustained injuries.

Dalori revealed that with last Friday’s suicide attacks, “it’s obvious some of these terrorists are living within our communities.”

According to him, urgent action from all stakeholders is required to arrest the insecurity in Konduga and avoid another suicide bomb attack

“I am here in Konduga, to condole my people over the suicide bomb attack that claimed lives and left many injured.

“I want every resident to be vigilant and prioritise your personal security, ” Adding that ” These terrorists are still living within, but we must be security conscious “, Dalori said.

Hon Dalori commended the military for the gallantry and urged them to beef up security in and around Konduga..

The Deputy National Chairman, who was at one time the Chairman of Konduga Council Area, gave cash support to families of those who lost their lives to the suicide bomb attack. Injured residents were not left out of the financial support and urged to step up prayers in their communities
