BBNaija Kola’s Family Warns of Legal Action Over Viral Clip Labelling Him ‘Predator’

The family of Kola Omotoso, a housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 10, has threatened legal action after a viral video sparked online outrage and led to him being labeled a “predator.”

Gatekeepers News reports that the controversy began after a clip surfaced online showing Kola in a conversation with fellow housemate Dede on Friday night.

While the footage appeared to capture a casual exchange, many viewers interpreted his conduct as inappropriate. The video quickly spread across social media, with some users accusing him of predatory behaviour.

In response, Kola’s family and management released a strongly worded statement through his official Instagram page, describing the allegations as baseless.

The statement reads, “We want to categorically state that the defamatory narratives being spread about Kola are false, malicious, and dangerous. Kola has never at any point violated the rules of the show or disrespected his fellow housemates.”

The family further cautioned that they would not tolerate damaging claims about the reality star, stressing that legal action would be pursued against anyone continuing to circulate defamatory remarks.

It added, “We urge the public to desist from spreading defamatory remarks. Failure to comply will leave us with no choice but to pursue legal action.”

This year’s BBNaija winner is set to walk away with ₦150 million, the largest prize since the show’s debut in 2006.

No one was evicted during yesterday’s live eviction show because all nominations for that week were cancelled.

This came after Head of House Rooboy used a special power, drawn from the ‘Tree of Trinkets’ to nullify all nominations, effectively scrapping the eviction for the week.
