Professor Mahmood Yakubu has stepped down as Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Gatekeepers News reports that the former INEC chairman transferred leadership to May Agbamuche as his tenure ended.
Yakubu, who has led the commission since 2015, made the announcement on Tuesday during an ongoing meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners at the INEC headquarters in Abuja.
