African Democratic Congress (ADC) has congratulated its newly elected state executives and chairmen following the conduct of its congresses across the country.

Gatekeepers News rwports that in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party described the elections as peaceful and in line with its constitution, noting that the process reflects its commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and the rule of law.

The party also announced that the formal inauguration of the newly elected officials has been scheduled for May 12, 2026. It added that a new date may be communicated if necessary by the National Working Committee.

ADC urged the incoming state leaders to remain dedicated to the party’s ideals and align with its leadership direction as they prepare to assume office.
The party emphasised that unity, discipline, and commitment will be essential in strengthening its structure and positioning it as a credible alternative for Nigerians.

The development comes amid internal challenges within the party, including issues surrounding leadership recognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Despite this, ADC proceeded with its congresses in several states and continues preparations for its broader political activities.
