Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of about 1.26 million candidates who sat for 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on April 17 and 18.
Gatekeepers News reports that the release is part of the board’s ongoing process of making results available in batches as marking and verification continue.
The development comes amid heightened attention around the UTME this year, with candidates and stakeholders closely monitoring the timely release of results.
The examination board had earlier assured the public that results would be released promptly after necessary checks to ensure accuracy and credibility.
JAMB is expected to continue releasing additional results for candidates who sat for the exam on other dates, while also addressing issues related to delays, disruptions, and alleged irregularities reported in some centres.
