Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has appointed lawyer, actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo as his official spokesperson.
Gatekeepers News reports that the appointment marks a significant addition to Atiku’s political team as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
Okonkwo will be responsible for coordinating media engagement and communicating Atiku’s positions on national issues, as well as articulating the former vice president’s agenda ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
His appointment is expected to strengthen Atiku’s public communications strategy as political activities ahead of the next general elections begin to intensify.
