Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been granted bail in the United Kingdom ahead of his next court appearance on September 15, 2026.
Gatekeepers News reports that Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges, including two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration and one count of attempted rape.
He was granted bail on September 11 and is expected to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The upcoming hearing is not the trial itself but is expected to address his plea and matters relating to preparations for a possible trial.
Poco Lee has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offence.
The development follows reports of his arrest after he travelled to the UK for the Davido and Friends concert held at Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14.
There had been claims on social media that Poco Lee had been released after the complainant withdrew the case or that the matter had been settled out of court. However, his bail status means the case remains active.
The identity of the complainant remains protected by a reporting restriction.
Poco Lee is expected back in court on September 15 as proceedings continue.
