Enugu Air is set to commence direct flights from Enugu to Douala, Cameroon, on September 23, 2026, as part of efforts to expand regional air connectivity.
Gatekeepers News reports that the airline’s Chief Operating Officer, Ugonna Agubuokwu, announced the development in a statement, saying the new route would connect businesses, families and other travellers between Nigeria and Cameroon.
The service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, with passengers from Lagos and Abuja able to connect to Douala through Enugu.
Flights from Enugu are scheduled to depart at 12:45pm and arrive in Douala at 1:45pm. The return flight will leave Douala at 2:30pm and arrive in Enugu at 3:30pm.
Agubuokwu said the schedule was designed to allow passengers travelling from Lagos and Abuja to connect conveniently with the international service.
The Enugu-Douala route will be Enugu Air’s first international route since the airline began operations in July 2025. The airline received its own Air Operator Certificate from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority in March 2026.
Enugu Air currently operates domestic services to destinations including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Owerri, Asaba, Benin City and Warri. The new international service is expected to further expand the airline’s regional operations.
