Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 828 new cases of Covid-19 in 18 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Gatekeepers News reports that the NCDC made this known through its daily reports for Friday, December 31
The record, according to the commission include; Lagos 550, Oyo 87, FCT 69, Kwara 31, Akwa Ibom 22, Bauchi 19, Ekiti 16, and Delta 11.
Others are; Kaduna 10, Ogun 3, Anambra 3, Plateau 2, Bayelsa 2, Nasarawa 1, Katsina 1, and Jigawa 1.
The pandemic has so far, claimed 3,031 lives across the country since its outbreak in 2020.
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 214,296.
