President Muhammadu Buhari has celebrated former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, on his 70th birthday, April 4, 2022.
Gatekeepers News reports that Buhari joined leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress in celebrating the party’s former Chairman on Sunday in Abuja.
The President in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Sunday, congratulated Oshiomhole on another milestone and saluted his salutary contributions to the development of democracy and good governance.
The statement was titled, ‘President Buhari rejoices with Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole at 70.’
Buhari, while making reference to how Oshiomhole deployed his time and strength to the good of workers and Nigerians as a labour leader, as Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress, and accepting the call into politics to serve his state, said he believed that the leadership strides in various sectors will stand the test of time.
The President noted the mental soundness and experience of the former Governor, willingly dedicating himself to the greater good of the country, and acting as the voice of the voiceless in different ramifications.
As the former APC leader turns 70, Buhari prayed for good health and continued service to God and humanity.
