Manchester United Reach Agreement On Sancho Transfer

Manchester United have reached an agreement on Jadon Sancho’s transfer.

Gatekeepers News reports that Manchester United have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund on the transfer of Jadon Sancho’s transfer.

United while announcing this on their website on Thursday, said “the signing is subject to contractual terms and a medical, which will be completed after Jadon’s involvement in the UEFA European Championship.”

The Red Devil agreed to purchase the 21-year-old England international at £73 million ($101m).

Dortmund in a statement which was earlier released on Thursday said: “The player Jadon Sancho is about to move from Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA to Manchester United Football Club Limited.

“Both clubs and the player reached an agreement on this today. If the transfer is realised, Manchester United will pay BVB a fixed transfer fee of EUR 85.0 million.

“The contractual details now have to be coordinated and documented.

“The formal processing of the transfer is also subject to the successful completion of all necessary medical tests and examinations, a coordination procedure with the player’s previous club, and the proper and timely processing in accordance with the provisions of the FIFA Transfer Matching System (FIFA TMS).”

Meanwhile, Serie A club’s CEO Giovanni Carnevali said Arsenal have lodged an official bid for Sassuolo star Manuel Locatelli.

The Gunners are “pushing hard” for the Italian midfielder amid his strong Euro 2020 campaign with Italy.

Juventus are also after the midfielder and have scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo to discuss a potential deal.

Carnevali said, “Arsenal have made an official bid for Locatelli. They’re pushing hard to sign Manuel and it’s an important bid. We will see.

“Also Juventus want Locatelli and we’ve a special relationship with them. We’ve a new meeting scheduled with Juve.

“We are trying to leave the lad calm, so I haven’t spoken to him or his agents yet. We can think about Locatelli’s future, but above all, we care about his present and that means Italy doing well at the Euros.”
