Chief Executive Officer of Ronid Ventures, Veronica Obende, has narrated how Zamantee Africa, organisers of the Lagos Fashion Festival defrauded her.
Gatekeepers News reports that Obende, popularly known as Hoodie Queen on Instagram explained how she paid the sum of N165,000 to the account of the organisers to book an exhibition slot during the festival.

After making the payment, the festival which was scheduled to be held at Landmark Event Center, VI Lekki Lagos, Nigeria on November 19, was later moved to November 26.
Few days after the changed date, the organisers announced a new date and a new venue (December 10). Obende upon learning this, requested a refund, noting that she was no longer interested in the exhibition.
The organisers however told her it would take 7 working days before a refund would be made.

Instead of refunding the N165,000, the organisers sent N60,000 and have refused to pay the balance to date.

All efforts to retrieve her money have not yielded results, as the organisers continue to dare her to do her worse.

Earlier today, one of our reporters reached out to the organisers on their official line, +234 802 376 6518 – handler: Al-ameen Babatunde and 08141131889 – Charles Week.
Although Week, a Liberian did not pick up his calls, Babatunde declined to speak on the matter, daring the reporter to ahead to publish her report.
