Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 565 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.
Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC placed out the redord list on Friday, August 7, showing the release across the country.
While Lagos has the highest number of infected cases, 348, Rivers recorded 70 new cases.
Other states include Akwa Ibon (45), Oyo (36), FCT (24), Ekiti (15), Kwara (7).
Others include, Ogun (7), Gombe (3), Anambra (2), Kaduna (2), Bayelsa (1), Cross Rivers (1), Edo (1), Plateau (1), Kano (1) and Sokoto (1).
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 177,142 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 165,323.
The total number of death increased to be 2,181, revealing that 11 death case was recorded.
