Edo State-born humanitarian and entrepreneur who is based in Abuja, Salmat Salisu Musah popularly known as Mayasalis organised a TRIBE BUSINESS PICNIC with the goal of “Finding Her Tribe” on Saturday, March 9th, 2024.
Gatekeepers News reports that the event was focused on bringing together like-minded individuals who share similar values, interests, and belief systems to collaborate and explore untapped opportunities in Nigeria.
The organiser, Mayasalis believes that in light of the economic situation caused by the pandemic, it is crucial to have a community of people who share interests to diversify and create multiple income streams.
The picnic also addressed some of the societal issues in Nigeria, particularly those related to limiting women’s financial opportunities and burdens on men.
The TRIBE BUSINESS PICNIC brought together male and female participants and encouraged husbands to support their spouses in achieving financial freedom.
Mayasalis emphasized that a financially stable woman is an asset to her husband and family and not arrogant or disrespectful. She also encouraged men to develop leadership skills to manage financially independent women instead of controlling them.
The event featured several speakers on topics such as Success Keys for Exportation and Importation Business in Nigeria by Business Coach Makinde Ibilola, Business Ideas in Nigeria by Successful Serial Entrepreneur Homto Dokpesi, and Business Structuring for Succession Business Planning Lecture delivered by Business Consultant Omoh Oziegbe. The lectures turned the picnic into a learning gathering aimed at improving the lives of the participants.
The TRIBE BUSINESS PICNIC was held in collaboration with Maya and Omoh Global Consultancy Limited and Blissful Imports and Exports Limited.
Attendees had a wonderful time socializing and networking with each other amid a beautiful outdoor setting. It was a great opportunity for all members of the tribe to unite and strengthen their bonds, leading to a stronger community of self-reliant individuals and a more connected community.
