Nigeria's COVID-19 Cases Rise By 790
Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose by 790 on Wednesday, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced.

Gatekeepers News reports that Lagos State reported the highest infections of the day with 574 cases, followed by Rivers-83.

Others are; Ondo-38, Ogun-31, Oyo-23, Delta-10, FCT-9, Ekiti-7, Edo-6, Osun-4, Anambra-2, Bayelsa-2 and Plateau-1.

“Today’s report includes: Three states with zero cases reported: Kano, Nasarawa and Sokoto.”

On the day under review, 72 COVID-19 patients recovered and have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country while 1 person died of complications.

Gatekeepers News reports that as of August 12th, 2021, Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases stand at 179,908;166,203 recoveries and 2,195 deaths.
