The Group Chaired by Hajia Lami Tumaka, (FNIPR) Ex-NIMASA Director, has as members HRH Alhaji Munir Ja’afaru, OFR, mni, (Madakin Zazzau), EX Director-General Nigerian Maritime Authority, Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, Mr. Temisan Omatseye, EX Director General NIMASA, Commodore Daniel Atakpa (NN), Senator Grace Folashade Bent, CON, Mr. Ojiji Oniri Onya, Alhaji Dikko Tahir Bala, Chief Michael Onuoha and Suleiman Adama, serving as Secretary to the Group.
Gatekeepers News members of the Group are expected to use their individual and collective wealth of experience, both in government and the corporate world to move the Blue Economy sector forward through the promotion of dialogue, strategic partnerships, capacity building in maritime policy/law, infrastructure development, community inclusiveness, environmental management and related challenges.
