Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 753 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.
Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC made this known on Thursday, August 12.
While Lagos has the highest number of infected cases, 364, Akwa Ibom recorded 141 new cases.
Other states include Oyo (74), Rivers (46), Abia (38), Ogun (24).
Others include, Kwara (20), FCT (12), Ekiti (10), Delta (9), Edo (6), Plateau (5), Imo (3) and Bayelsa (1).
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 180,661 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 166,560.
The total number of death increased to be 2,200, revealing that 5 death case was recorded.
