Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gatekeepers News reports that Okeke met with President Muhammadu Buhari today at the Presidential Villa.
Okeke, who is now a member of APC defected from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Present to welcome the deputy governor included, APC Caretaker Committee Chairman and Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Okeke first served as Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, and again as the State’s Commissioner for Works and Transport in the administration of Governor Peter Obi.
