KB Klub College of Medicine, University of Lagos marched into the second quarter of the year 2022 carrying the flag of Philanthropy as high as always.
Gatekeepers News reports that Kbites on March 31st, 2022 dressed in their trademark blue and yellow jerseys to attend the Interhouse sporting event of the Atunda-Olu School for the Physically and Mentally Challenged.
According to a statement made available by Klub’s Editor, Madehin Mustapha, Kbites arrived at the school at 10:20 am and after meeting with the Headmistress who was all smiles and pleased to see them again. They proceeded to take pictures with the support items that they procured for the children of the school.
A dance session ensued and Kbites interacted with the children whilst showcasing some dance moves. At 11 am, actor cum politician, Honorable Desmond Olusola Elliot of the Surulere Constituency graced the event in a bid to pay peculiar respects to the heritage of the school.
Mustapha said upon introduction, Elliot was amazed to meet a group of young, medical students dedicated to Philanthropy and Social Empowerment. Conversations and a photo session thereby followed and then contacts were exchanged as he looked forward to having further discussions with The Keebite/President of the Klub.
Following the introduction of other dignitaries, the Interhouse sport kicked off finally with the March Past event and then the races, where Kbites functioned as games masters recording positions after each race.
“Generally, this was another successful event of the KB Klub, excelling in putting smiles on the faces of people, ensuring happiness was a gift well shared,” he said.
