Netflix on Tuesday dangled a $4.56m prize as it calls for interested participants for a reality show based on ‘Squid Game‘.
Gatekeepers News reports that ‘Squid Game‘’ is a South Korean survival story of 456 cash-strapped contestants who accepted an invitation to compete in children’s games for a tempting prize of ₩45.6 billion and deadly penalties for losers of each stage.
Netflix on Tuesday invited viewers to participate in ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ which it said would be its biggest social experiment.
“With the largest cast in reality TV history, 456 real players will enter the game in pursuit of a life-changing cash prize of $4.56 million. Do you have what it takes to win Squid Game?” the streamer stated.
“For this round, the Front Man is in search of English-language speakers from any part of the world.
“The stakes are high, but in this game, the worst fate is going home empty-handed.”

Gatekeepers News reports that the development comes just a few hours after Netflix teased a second season for the survival drama series.
