President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Gatekeepers News reports that Buhari arrived at the Council Chambers at around 11:00 am, about an hour after the usual time of 10:00 am.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and Head of the Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan are present at the meeting.
Also present are Ministers of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Justice, Abubakar Malami; Finance Budget and National Planning; Zainab Ahmed, Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello and Education, Adamu Adamu.
The Ministers of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq; Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire; as well as Ministers of State for Agriculture, Mustapha Shehuri, Budget and National Planning Clement Agba, among others are also present.
Meanwhile, Vice President Osinbajo is not attending Wednesday’s meeting as he is on an official assignment in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
The President’s Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari is absent.
