Jesse Lingard Fined For Riding Scooter Without License In S.Korea

FC Seoul K-League player and former Manchester United and England star, Jesse Lingard has been fined $143 for riding an electric scooter in Seoul without a licence.

Gatekeepers News reports that South Korean police revealed this on Thursday.

According to an official at Korean National Police Agency; the 31-year-old English footballer was investigated on Wednesday and subsequently fined 190,000 won.

Lingard had earlier this week taken to his official Instagram page to reveal he wasn’t aware of South Korea’s regulations on electric scooters, including having to wear a helmet.

He said, “Anyone visiting South Korea, obviously you have to check the rules.”

“It can be dangerous. Safety first, you know for everyone, helmets on. And obviously, I won’t do that again.”

UK media said Lingard was banned from driving for 18 months last year after being caught driving in his expensive supercar in Manchester.
