Pa Joshua Bamidele Adesuyi, the father of Orange FM’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Adebimpe Akindele, is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that Pa Adesuyi, a veteran education administrator, philanthropist, preacher and organist, died on October 6th, 2024, after a brief illness. He aged 89.
A distinguished alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Pa Adesuyi had an illustrious career spanning several decades, teaching French, English, and Agriculture in various secondary schools.
He served as Vice Principal of the former Ondo State College of Arts and Science (OSCAS) in Ikare before his retirement almost 30 years ago.
Pa Adesuyi is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, in-laws, and other family members. His legacy as a devoted educator, community leader, and family man will be deeply missed.
The family will announce his burial arrangements later.
