Nigerian actress and comedian, Wafai Fada has gotten married to her partner, Taiwo Cole legally.
Gatekeepers News reports that the actress took to her official Instagram page to post pictures from their legal wedding ceremony held at Ikoyi Registry.
She added the caption, “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite. Legally hitched. @taiwo.cole.7 #TWOforever. #MrsCole. #2 of 3, and forever to go.”
The couple’s legal marriage came months after videos from their traditional wedding in Calabar, capital of Cross River went viral on social media.
Subsequently, Taiwo’s family issued a public disclaimer, distancing themselves from the union.
They said, “This serves to notify all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island Lagos are not aware of any marriage ceremony of our Son Taiwo Olakitan Cole, neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard.”
The couples have however continued to share glimpses of their traditional wedding on social media.
