Junior Quality Assurance Officer

Job Description:
The Dangote Group is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Officer to assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols within our operations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in quality assurance, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Analyzing of Raw materials, Intermediate and finished Samples
- Interpreting result and taking necessary actions
- Analysis and Reporting of Water Samples for both Plant and Power Plant Operation
- Preparation of Daily Production Reports with respect to Power report, mines report, packing report and CCR reports
- Monitoring and Controlling of Pile Chemistry to the desire target.
- Assist in the Maintenance of ISO systems in the department
- Working with the QCX. Blend expert Software to Optimize Quality Performance and minimize error
- Inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective running of the laboratory.
- Carrying out any other job as may be assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage but not required.
