Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has ordered the immediate suspension of Dr. Caulson Osoikhia Oahimire, Executive Secretary of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
Gatekeepers News reports that the suspension follows allegations of grave financial and official infractions.
A special committee has also been constituted to investigate the allegations.
In the meantime, senior staff of the agency will act in a functioning capacity pending the outcome of the investigation, according to the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor who announced the suspension in a statement on Tuesday.
