A Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has postponed its decision on the bail application filed by relationship therapist and social media influencer, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka popularly known as Blessing CEO.
Gatekeepers News reports that Blessing CEO is facing charges over an alleged N36 million fraud. Justice D.I. Dipeolu reserved ruling on the application on Friday and fixed June 9, 2026, for the decision.
Blessing CEO is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on a two-count charge bordering on alleged obtaining by false pretence and stealing.
According to the anti-graft agency, the charges involve N36 million allegedly obtained from a complainant under false representations.
The case came up for hearing on Friday, during which the court considered arguments relating to her bail application before deciding to reserve its ruling. The EFCC disclosed the development in a statement shared on its official X account.
Blessing CEO had earlier been arraigned before the court and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Prosecutors alleged that the money was collected under the guise of leasing a property in Lagos, an allegation the defendant denies.
Further proceedings in the matter are expected to continue after the court delivers its ruling on the bail application on June 9.
