All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that the second term of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, will bring greater development and improved living conditions to residents of the state following his re-election victory.

Gatekeepers News reports that according a statement issued on Sunday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, congratulated Oyebanji on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of the Governor’s leadership and people-oriented policies.

Morka said the Governor’s re-election reflects the confidence Ekiti residents have in his administration’s commitment to development and progress. He also described the victory as historic, noting that Oyebanji became the first incumbent governor in the state’s contemporary democratic history to secure re-election.

The APC spokesman commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies and other stakeholders for their roles in ensuring the successful conduct of the election. He also praised residents of the state for their peaceful participation throughout the electoral process.
