Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11 will premiere on July 26, with organisers announcing a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million for the winner, the highest reward in the reality show’s history since its debut in 2006.
Gatekeepers News reports that MultiChoice Nigeria unveiled details of the new season during a media briefing on Wednesday, confirming that the show will run for 10 weeks and conclude on October 4. The organisers said the prize package includes N100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV, alongside other rewards from sponsors.
The organisers said the increased prize reflects the programme’s continued popularity and commitment to delivering an exciting entertainment experience for viewers across Africa. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as host for the new season.
Since its revival in 2017, BBNaija has grown into one of Africa’s biggest reality television shows, producing several celebrities and entrepreneurs while attracting millions of viewers. Last year’s winner received a prize worth N150 million, making this year’s N160 million reward the largest in the show’s history.
