David Mark Mourns Uduaghan – Says Delta – Nigeria Have Lost Distinguished Leader

David Mark, national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has mourned the death of former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, describing his passing as a loss to the state, the Niger Delta region and Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that Mark, in a condolence message, said the death of the former Governor was particularly saddening given his contributions to public service and the development of Delta State.

He noted that Uduaghan’s years in public office placed him at the centre of efforts to promote peace, development and improved living conditions for the people of the state.

According to Mark, the late former Governor’s experience in governance and service to the people would remain an important part of his legacy.

“Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s death is a painful loss to Delta State and our country. He was a public servant who devoted a significant part of his life to the service of his people and the development of his state,” he said.

The ADC chairman extended his condolences to Uduaghan’s immediate family, the government and people of Delta State, as well as his friends, associates and political colleagues.

He prayed that God would grant the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss and comfort all those mourning the former governor.

Mark also urged the people of Delta State to take solace in Uduaghan’s contributions to public service during his lifetime.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the former governor’s soul.

Uduaghan served as Governor of Delta State from 2007 to 2015.
